While any remodeling job is stressful for the home owner, we were extremely pleased with the effort VanVleet put into planning around our needs and providing us with an accurate software based project time line we could count on. Our house was a rebuild after the Marshall Fire and if the new house burns down I would engage Van Vleet rebuild it again. From the first meeting I could tell that Rob was a person of integrity and could be trusted to do a quality job and stand by the finished product. He was the only builder that would commit to a six month time line and kept that commitment: we broke ground on January 13, 2023 and had our certification of occupancy on July 15. There were weekly status calls for the duration of the project while many of our neighbor’s builders weren’t even returning phone calls. 18 months after we moved back there was an settling issue with the front patio which was a significant expense to correct because the patio had to be re-poured after the grade was brought back to level. I offered to pay for half or all of the repair cost but Rob insisted on paying for 100% of the repair. Compare this with another builder who declined to replace a scratched countertop because the homeowners didn’t notice it during the final walkthrough. Van Vleet did an outstanding job overall and I would recommend them to anyone in the market for a new build or remodel.

Our first experience with Van Vleet Construction was on a project where our client connected us together for roof deck structural modifications that where required on three different buildings, even though Van Vleet was directly contracted through our client, The team stayed on schedule and completed  all scope with no issues to help us make the project successful. From that experience, we contracted Van Fleet this year to help with similar interior structural modifications for a very important client that required work to be completed in a large occupied building, after onsite preconstruction meetings with Rob Van Vleet, we knew the value he and his team would bring to make another project successful. Hugo and the field team worked in phases through the occupied building, organized, clean, on schedule and with minimal disruptions even though they had to access many offices and rooms.
