Rob Van Vleet
President
With over 28 years in the construction industry, Rob has extensive experience in multiple disciplines of construction. His projects include high rise condominiums, Industrial and food production, charter schools, restaurants, commercial interiors, new home construction, and residential remodeling. He has his Master's Degree in Construction Management from Texas A&M University and is a LEED AP, with a heavy focus on environmental construction and energy efficiency.
Most importantly, Rob is the father of three beautiful daughters. He enjoys the great outdoors and spends much time with his family flying, backpacking, hiking, biking, skiing, or just relaxing out in the mountain air. He is active in the local church and community, and he makes it a priority to volunteer his time and resources to organizations such as Young Life, CRU, Rise for Adoption, and the like.
His passion is to create space for people. Space to relax, or space to be productive. But in either regard, space that is inviting and enabling that for which it was created.
Jordan Higgins

Jordan brings11 years of construction experience including residential remodeling and commercial projects. Jordan began working with VVC in 2021 as a Superintendent and is now working full time in the office as Sr. Project Manager. Jordan is happily married to Marissa. They currently have no little ones but do have two loving golden retriever’s named Piper and Paco. Jordan graduated from Western State Colorado University in 2015 with a degree in Environmental Sustainability and a minor in Biology. Throughout his 4-year service in the Marine Corp he developed a strong work ethic and an appreciation for people in all walks of life. Jordan and Marissa enjoy hiking, fishing, camping, and all other outdoor activities that colorful Colorado has to offer. Jordan enjoys a challenge and completed the Elk Mountain Grand Traverse in 2013. He enjoys challenging himself both in and out of work.
Chuck Pelon
Superintendent
With over 17 years in the construction industry, Chuck brings deep expertise across a wide range of projects, from commercial builds and multi-family developments to land development, specialty, and industrial projects. He currently provides hands-on leadership on active sites—running projects as needed while offering guidance, backup, and mentorship to the field team to ensure every job meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Chuck holds a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University. He is passionate about building spaces that stand the test of time—spaces that are well-crafted, efficient, and truly serve the people who live or work in them.
Above all, Chuck is a devoted husband and father with four wonderful children. He cherishes time with his family, whether exploring the outdoors through hiking, camping, and fishing, or simply enjoying quiet moments together at home.
His driving purpose is to create environments that fully meet the needs of their users, from concept to completion and beyond. Through honest communication, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to doing things right the first time, Chuck builds not just structures, but lasting relationships and spaces that inspire and endure.
Jon Horner
Assistant Project Manager
Jon brings 20 years of experience in the construction industry, having worked as both a subcontractor and a general contractor. As a former business owner, he has a deep understanding of project management, budgeting, and collaboration with clients and trade partners to ensure successful project delivery.
Jon takes great pride in the construction process, finding fulfillment in seeing a project through from start to finish and delivering high-quality results that meet client expectations. His dedication to excellence, efficiency, and teamwork makes him a valuable asset to any project.
Outside of work, Jon has been married for 25 years and is a proud father of three. He enjoys coaching and playing sports, bringing the same leadership and passion to the field as he does to his construction career.
Bradley Bohling
Superintendent
Bradley Bohling is a Construction Superintendent with over ten years of experience leading commercial, industrial, and federal projects. He specializes in managing day-to-day field operations, coordinating subcontractors, and keeping work moving safely and efficiently.
Brad takes a hands-on approach in the field, focusing on planning ahead, clear communication, and solving problems before they impact schedule or quality. He has experience working in occupied and high-security environments where attention to detail and coordination are critical.
An Army veteran and former law enforcement officer, Brad brings discipline, accountability, and a strong work ethic to every jobsite. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management and is committed to delivering well-run projects and building strong relationships with crews, clients, and trade partners. When he’s not on the jobsite, Brad is usually spending time with his wife and three kids—or sneaking in a round of golf.
Hugo Salais

With over 21 years of hands-on experience in construction, Hugo has built a career rooted in craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional results. Beginning his journey in 2004, he quickly discovered his love for the industry and has since worked on a diverse range of projects, including high-end new homes, remodels, restorations, and commercial developments.
Hugo brings his experience in the field as a carpenter and leader to Site Supervision. He takes pride in collaborating with clients and designers to navigate the challenges of each project. His approach ensures a seamless process, resulting in a finished product that meets the highest standards of quality and precision.
Beyond construction, Hugo enjoys woodworking, collecting vintage tools, and spending time in nature through mountain drives and hiking. A devoted husband of 17 years and a proud father of two, he values the balance between his professional work and family life.
For Hugo, the question isn’t why he enjoys construction—it’s why not? His dedication to the craft and commitment to excellence continue to drive every project he takes on.
Jeff Stoffel
Assistant Superintendent
Jeff Stoffel serves as an Assistant Superintendent at Van Vleet Construction, bringing a unique blend of operational leadership, client service, and business ownership experience to the field. A Colorado native who grew up in the mountains outside of Boulder, Jeff has a deep appreciation for the region, its communities, and the importance of building structures that are made to last.
Jeff is the founder and owner of Centripetal Fitness, a successful group-based training facility where he has spent years building long-term client relationships through consistency, communication, and a high standard of service. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Management, which supports a structured, systems-driven approach to planning, problem solving, and execution on the jobsite.
His background in entrepreneurship and service-based business operations gives him a strong appreciation for accountability, follow-through, and delivering quality work that leads to repeat business and referrals. As an Assistant Superintendent, Jeff focuses on supporting site operations, maintaining clear communication among teams, and helping ensure projects run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Outside of work, Jeff enjoys rock climbing, backcountry skiing, and lifelong learning. He values quality time with his wife, Kelly, and their daughter, Olive, and is proud to continue building his career in the Colorado Front Range.
