Meet Our Team

Rob Van Vleet

President

With over 26 years in the construction industry, Rob has extensive experience in multiple disciplines of construction. His projects include high rise condominiums, commercial interiors, new home construction, and residential remodeling. He has his Master's Degree in Construction Management from Texas A&M University and is a LEED AP, with a heavy focus on environmental construction and energy efficiency.
Most importantly, Rob is a husband of 26 years with three beautiful daughters. He enjoys the great outdoors and spends much time with his family backpacking, hiking, biking, skiing, or just relaxing out in the mountain air. He is active in the local church and community, and he makes it a priority to volunteer his time and resources to organizations such as Young Life, CRU, Compassion International, and the like.

His passion is to create space for people. Space to relax, or space to be productive. But in either regard, space that is inviting and enabling that for which it was created.

Jordan Higgins

Project Manager

Jordan brings 9 years of construction experience including residential remodeling and commercial projects. His most recent work has been medical office and medical imagery remodels. He completed multiple projects in the Dallas area to include new CAT scan rooms in the Dallas Veterans Hospital. Jordan is happily married to Marissa. They currently have no little ones but do have one loving golden retriever named Piper. Jordan graduated from Western State Colorado University in 2015 with a degree in Environmental Sustainability and a minor in Biology. Throughout his 4-year service in the Marine Corp he developed a strong work ethic and an appreciation for people in all walks of life. Jordan and Marissa enjoy hiking, fishing, camping, and all other outdoor activities that colorful Colorado has to offer. Jordan enjoys a challenge and completed the Elk Mountain Grand Traverse in 2013. He enjoys challenging himself both in and out of work.

Jon Horner

Superintendent

Jon brings 20 years of experience in the construction industry, having worked as both a subcontractor and a general contractor. As a former business owner, he has a deep understanding of project management, budgeting, and collaboration with clients and trade partners to ensure successful project delivery.

Jon takes great pride in the construction process, finding fulfillment in seeing a project through from start to finish and delivering high-quality results that meet client expectations. His dedication to excellence, efficiency, and teamwork makes him a valuable asset to any project.

Outside of work, Jon has been married for 25 years and is a proud father of three. He enjoys coaching and playing sports, bringing the same leadership and passion to the field as he does to his construction career.

George Contreras

Superintendent

George brings 15 years of experience in the construction industry, including six years as a superintendent after working extensively in the field. His hands-on expertise and leadership ensure projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, and with the highest quality standards.
George values the dynamic nature of construction, appreciating the variety each project brings and the satisfaction of transforming spaces to meet client needs. His commitment to excellence and teamwork makes him a key contributor to every project he undertakes.
Outside of work, George is a dedicated family man with three children. He enjoys coaching football and spending time outdoors with his family, embracing both teamwork and personal growth in all aspects of life.

Hugo Salais

Superintendent

With over 21 years of hands-on experience in construction, Hugo has built a career rooted in craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional results. Beginning his journey in 2004, he quickly discovered his love for the industry and has since worked on a diverse range of projects, including high-end new homes, remodels, restorations, and commercial developments.

Hugo brings his experience in the field as a carpenter and leader to Site Supervision. He takes pride in collaborating with clients and designers to navigate the challenges of each project. His approach ensures a seamless process, resulting in a finished product that meets the highest standards of quality and precision.

Beyond construction, Hugo enjoys woodworking, collecting vintage tools, and spending time in nature through mountain drives and hiking. A devoted husband of 17 years and a proud father of two, he values the balance between his professional work and family life.

For Hugo, the question isn’t why he enjoys construction—it’s why not? His dedication to the craft and commitment to excellence continue to drive every project he takes on.

Stephan Papenfus

Assistant Project Manager

Stephan brings six years of experience working in the retail construction industry. He started in the field before moving into the office to assist in the full life cycle of construction remodels, from estimating and ordering equipment to project closeout. His experience includes managing large-budget, tight-deadline projects with multiple crews throughout the U.S. Some clients he has worked with in the past include Target, Best Buy, Kohl’s, and various other retailers.

Stephan graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2016 with a degree in Environmental Studies and Sustainability, with a minor in Economics. He loves to explore new places and meet people from all walks of life. He enjoys learning new perspectives and different ways of thinking, as it allows him to find effective and creative solutions to complex problems.

One of his goals is to learn at least one new thing every day, whether work-related or life-related. A Colorado native, Stephan is happy to be back among the mountains.

Weyler Hau Sosa

Laborer

Weyler brings 11 years of diverse experience in the construction industry, with experience in drywall, concrete, demolition, rough framing, flooring, painting, welding, doors and hardware, roofing, and finish trim. His broad skill set and hands-on expertise make him a valuable asset to any project. He also holds a forklift certification, further enhancing his ability to contribute to job site efficiency and safety.

Weyler takes pride in his work, finding fulfillment in the craftsmanship and the visible improvements each project brings. His dedication to quality and attention to detail ensure that every task is completed to the highest standards.

Outside of work, Weyler enjoys spending time with his family and is committed to providing for them. He is married and a proud father to a young daughter. In his free time, he enjoys working on his own home, staying active through workouts, and continuously building his skills both professionally and personally.
